The Cranes. Cranes are for good luck, and good traveling, and new beginnings. Heaavenly blue seems just right , but I also sometimes glaze this in celadon or green or white. They are all lovely. I make this in several sizes and shapes.

Birds and Bamboo. A large platter on a dark clay body with a white glaze that often goes a little bluish here and there. It tends to be about 14" at the rim.
